| 7:30 - 9:00 AM | Morning Arrival Free play: Choice of large and small-motor activities, including climbing and jumping; playing with playdough, puzzles and other manipulative toys; sand table and water play; painting and other art activities. |
| 9:00 - 9:30 AM | Morning Snack |
| 9:30 - 11:30 AM | Free play Books, dramatic play, blocks, water, sand, art activities, indoor riding toys, large-motor equipment, rhythm instruments, manipulative toys. Teacher-led circle time More structured group experience focusing on songs, stories, dancing, music, simple games. Toileting. Outside time In play yards for swings, slides, exploration, and riding circle for wagons and riding toys. |
| 11:30 - 12 noon | Lunch Free play, toileting, story time. |
| 12:15 - 4:30 PM | Pick up/arrival time for half-day children Nap/Rest Time Nappers up between 2:30 and 3:00; resters to table for drawing, painting, or playdough at 2:15; toileting. Free play, indoors or outdoors. Afternoon snack. |

| 7:30 - 10:30 AM | Morning arrival Free play: Child-directed play in activity areas for fine and gross-motor development, art expression, dramatic play. Focus on pursuit of children's individual interests and abilities and on practicing interpersonal skills. Morning snack. |
| 9:50 AM - 12:00 PM | Clean-up of activity areas. Outside play in play yard for running, digging, swinging, climbing, sliding, balancing, exploring, gardening; and riding circle for wagons and riding toys. Toileting. |
| 12:00 - 12:15 PM | Large-group meeting Songs, stories, movement, and circle games while children wash hands for lunch. |
| 12:15 - 1:30 PM | Free play, indoors or outdoors; toileting. Pick up/arrival time for half-day children. Story time. |
| 1:30 - 4:30 PM | Quiet/nap time Nappers up between 2:30 and 3:00; resters given quiet choice of coloring or reading at 2:00, up at 2:30 for quiet free play at tables/book area; toileting. Teach-facilitated activites in art, science, alphabet, numbers, music, nature activities, and community building activities. Afternoon snack. |
